On the electric choke there is a nipple at the 5 o'clock position.
It is shown in this picture. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/attachments/elec_choke-jpg.1714738803/
OOps, that is a picture of a Holley, but it looks the same as my Edlecbrock

Where does the other side of this tube hook up ?
\

The guy I bought the carb from, rebuilds these for a living. I am pretty sure that he said not to put anything on the nipple.

I have recently had problems when SOMEONE,unknow to me put a hose on this that did not belong there

Pretty sure thats a blind hole or where the heat riser type choke heater goes.
I have two of those here on running cars and neither one has anything that goes there.

As a matter of fact neither of mine even has a tube that a hose could go on, so if you are using the electric choke function and have a tube there I would cap it.

There was nothing there and that is what the rebuilder told me to do.
Whoever sabotaged my car, took the vent from the fuel tanks and attached it to this nipple. The hose is suppose to be connected to the air filter

When I put my finger over it, the choke closed completely. when uncapped the choke was slightly open.

Better than the fender tag missing I guess, but that sucks.

You need to remove my horn to get at my fender tag. Nice how it worked out that way

I just noticed that in your picture there is a hole. My `406 carb has a hose nipple on that hole.
I guess I will do what the rebuilder said to do, leave it alone/ignore it

Only hose on my eddy carb with electric choke is a hose going to the pcv valve and hose going to the fuel port

I stand corrected. And I am not going to ask why or what advantage is it

As far as i know the vac advance is mainly for cruising at lower rpm. Well i have a 4 speed so thats not an issue plus im not worried about better mpg.
Didnt make a difference on the dyno, so its not hooked up
