[SOLD] Fenderwell headers, small block, "A" body

A vintage set of JR fenderwell headers for the "A" body cars. NOS they appear to never have been installed on a car. External finish is the factory paint with scratches from handling. They still have the collector labels. Part #4252. Located in Southampton, Pa. $350.00 OBO.

I dont think it matters because you have to butcher the fenderwell so much, that and there's no way itll run into anything because theyre going dirrectly up not down.

The way it looks, there might be less removal of fenderwell material with these vs. the Hookers I have on 67 cuda......
I might be interested if price comes down........

Nice install on the '65. I can see now how the hood will close. Because of the vintage I'm leaning toward early "A" body. They are 1-5/8" tubes also. You can put exhaust on them. Buy 3" 45 degree bends or a 180 degree bend and make you're own extension to get the end of the header under the body. They are O.B.O. Shipping is not inexpensive.

Just for clarity, these are for early A bodies.Had them on '65 Barracuda and '64 Dart. Strictly track use since they dump straight to the ground with little/no clearance for a 90* bend. They make good HP.

A little history as these are cool oldschool units.
Had to research these a while ago figuring out what these monsters where on my 65 Dart project,
Headman headers bought out JR in the early 80's. The guy with jr still worked for headman until no compete clause ran out then started m&d headers which became mad dog headers.
These units will make serious hp.
In dealing with my project have found out in an early-a all you need for exhaust if so desired are 6 " collector extensions then 45 degree bends
and go from there.
