$4,300?

I guess I'd never heard of a branded title :poke:
in CA a "branded title" has pretty broad definitions. it could be salvage, grey market or revived junk/salvage. in this instance, it's likely because it was initially sold as a US forest service truck, maybe. sometimes state vehicles will carry a branded title, but it's unusual for one of this age.

but seeing that it doesn't have plates on it, i'm gonna guess that it's salvage if it's even reg'd up in CA-- it would need a smog to do so, and i don't see any of the CARB equipment on there.

Looks like the dash is gone and that's where the Vin is
It's on the upper cowl and core support, and the trunk drp rail but that's gone sooo. But, ad says he has the dash vin too.

If it's a legit RT/SE with a 440 and 4 speed, that's got potential honestly.

I don't know anything about these trucks. Why no buy? Looks nice. I'm not a fan of custom dashes; too much chance of crazy wiring under it.

EDIT: Never mind. Screwed up title. I guess.
this is a total slop job. the more i look at it the worse it gets.

the tail gate looks like it was beat with a pillow case full of rusty door knobs and painted with a mop.

not one pic of all the known problem spots on these, either.

I would if it wasn't a 4 door, that's a deal killer for me, convertibles too.
it's a slant six and beyond your 150mi radius. don't be bullshitting around in this thread dan.

this thread is for people that'll actually go out and grab one of these.

That's like saying I'm going to stay single unless I find a super model wife.

It's about personal preference, I don't want a 4 door for going to car shows. It might be for you and that's fine, not everyone likes the same thing.

Well.. at least you've narrowed it down. It's a very limited scope, hopefully 1 of the bean farmers stashed 1 away in 1976 for you.

Wow! I'll believe you, but I just can't wrap my brain around spending that kind of money for.....well....that! (Or rather, what's left of that.)

I guess I just don't have deep enough pockets.

All it takes is an AMD catalog and a welder.. It's just a giant lego set
Is all of the sheet metal that it needs even available? Looks like the back section is gone. I don't know what it would be worth when finished, but I'm sure that there is several thousand dollars just in metal. Does it have the number matching engine, transmission, rearend? If not that hurts the value

dan, how about you stop flapping your goat lips and go look at E body values.

then come back with a slightly more informed opinion.
