I made this bracket for my duster out of 11 gauge, its not perfect, but turned out pretty good. After I built it, painted it, and installed it. I decided I didnt like the location. :angry3: It took about a week of looking at it to decide it just wasnt the look I was going for. The car only went out of the garage and back in with it installed, so i dont know what it would be like on bumpy roads, but it seemed fairly rigid.

It just slides in under the dash pad. Just protect the dash and use something to pry up a little on the dash pad to slide it under it. I had some good fairly thick double sided tape on the metal dash side and some foam weatherstrip on the pad sad, and it was held in pretty tight. If your pad is off you could drill it and screw it down to the pad and you would never see the screws.

I made it for my 3 3/8" sun retro style tach, but i imagine that any gauge that size that mounts from the back into the cup thing will work in it.

$20 bucks plus the ride. its located in new palestine, in 46163
