Mite be a good Idea, better have some MODS lined up in riot gear when ya mix fords, chevys and mopars... :boxing:

Will I have owned all 3 makes, I like the Dodge truck the best.

I'm in! We've got 3 trucks - all Dodge of course - an 87 short bed 2 wheel drive with a Super Six equipped slant, a 93 Dakota reg cab short bed 4 x 4 with the 3.9 and a 2010 reg cab short bed 4x4 with the 4.7.

Great idea. I'm more into trucks nowdays than I am my Dart.

I think it would be great. I have been trying to sell one of my Diesel's , a restored 93 Diesel with a 04 commonrail motor . There is no traffic on other sites , so I got no hits. I didn't list it on here because it is not a muscle car.

hell yeah! Me too, count me in...

I have a 1978 D150, factory 400,727, 9.25 and I work on it MORE than I do my A-body.

I bought it 5 years ago off a guy on Moparts, outside of Dallas Tx.
It was in sad shape, and I have slowly been bringing back to roadtrip worthy.

If it werent for a Old Trusty Chiltons Manual, I would only have Moparts as a Truck Resource.

I just rattle canned er' Satin Black and cleaned up the white wagon wheels and primed and painted them Gloss Black. Here is a Video going through its early days in my possession.

These trucks are the definition of Tough.

Hell yes i,d join. I have a 53,2001and 2002 Dodge truck plus a 96 s10. I need schooling on stacking and programmers for cummins diesels.

I also happen to be on the DakDur site as well as the Dakota RT site. Are there other trucks besides MOPARS?

Ok, since we're talking trucks - I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and it regularly does what I call "the funky chicken" on the highway. The front end shakes violently and goes completely out of control. All I can do to stop it is hit the brakes. I researched online and apparently this is a pretty common problem and is referred to also as "the death shake". Although it's a common problem there doesn't seem to be any real solution. I've changed the stabilizer many times and the shake seems to dissapear for a while then comes back. I got new tires and it had no effect. They have been rotated, balanced, and aligned.
Anyone else out there with a dodge truck that they love dearly but are getting so frustrated with they are thinking about getting a ffff...ford?
Input appreciated as always!!

Pitman arms used to be the culprit !!!Had an SRT10 Ram,had electrical problem @ the 97K mi range that I got tired of so I traded it in on a 4x4 Hemi 1500 !!!

.
Count me in, I have three, My 57' pick up, a 59' panel, and a factory 59' 4X4.

So long as no one minds beaters.

get the steering box slack adjusted it fixed a friends truck that was doing the same thing

Sounds like a great idea. I've got 5 trucks, and it would be nice to ask questions about them all on one forum, rather than 3 different sites.

Gotta love the old trucks... Uh mines gotta worn out 6-cylinder-- yeah thats whats under those 68' big block camaro hood vents uh 6... :-\"

Thanks to all who responded here. After the response to this poll, I decided to begin building a new site:

http://www.fortrucksonly.com/

This will be a site dedicated to trucks. All American Brands, All Years.

I could use a little help from a few people who really know trucks.

If your willing to help me get setup, please PM me.

Cool. :supz:

I'd love to find a '78 Lil Red Express, a '96 Indy Ram and an '06 SRT/10. Hey I can dream, can't I? Don't forget a sub category for custom shaggin' wagons.... errr...... I mean Vans.

Wylde1.

I vote YES, If it's laid out anything like FABO I think you will have a good leg up on the competition. Not to mention I think that doing it the way you described by compiling all the American brand truck's into one website and then dividing them up into sub sections will be a good advantage.

Reason being, Alot of folks for example have a daily driver chevy pick up and a hot rod dodge pick up. And in an ever growing world where convenience is a must......A "one stop shop" would be great to have.

I have an'03 'rango with a bad tranny, and a 98 'kota CC 4X4 I'm playing with now. I REALLY want a Dually for pulling my car to the track ( If I EVER get it running again 8-[ )
