Hey guys, I'm headed off to college (IUPUI) for Motorsports Engineering. I'm just curious on the interest level in for performance parts for Slants.

I think I have a good idea for an intake manifold design, but what else would you guys I suggest looking into?

Just looking for ideas/requests/complaints on current products and seeing if it'd be worth designing/building parts for.

Gimme your $.02!!!!

I'm thinking of heads, maybe a three valve if I can work it right, I think I want to make a better intake than what the Aussies and Clifford makes, and kinder headers since the slant offers TONS of room to work with in the bay, possibly a valve cover too, and some roller rockers to match the heads!

Oil pumps, oil pump drive gears, roller rockers, roller cams, pistons,Adjustable roller timing chain sets,of course the staples like good afordable headers, quailty intakes that fit with headers and or stock exhaust.Valve cover that fits roller rockers or a spacer kit.SFI balancers that have a pully groove,SFI flex plates.Good engine mounts..Just to name a few.

would you guys be willing to use a long intake that needed a mount to the k-frame/inner fender for durability's sake?

An aluminum crossflow overhead cam 4 valve per cylinder head.

interesting... crossflow how? wouldn't you stick intake and exhaust on the same halfs?

wow Romeo! didn't pull out any stops on that one!!

and there is an SFI dampner... its the Romac... i think are more... and even more if you set it up for a 440 balancer...

better to do it to the motor other wise it will crack when the motor moves...

805moparkid has a badass slant six dart check him out maybe:mrgreen:

haha thx... im getting close to do my intake manifold... just need to get mikes 64 dart done and then i can play with my stuff...

Just what I was thinking about at the time,Kid. I know that some of this stuff is available now from other parts of the world, but was thinking USA made or more stuff in the market makes lower prices and easier to get. Just a thought..

si... LOL

You get a head made and I'm sure we could figure a intake manifold design I'd do a direct port fuel injection setup
