Skittles

Decided he was going to take up residence in the wheel well of my wife's car.
Took 2 weeks to get him fully comfortable being inside.
Still a little wild. Now 2.5 years.
First cat I've had in 20+ years.
First ever for wife.

These 2 were found by one of the wife's co-workers.
They were cornered under a deck by a neighborhood dog.
Very young, mal-nourished, barely able to see and eat.
Tan one is Nougat or Buffy. Very smart, knows his name (both of them) and comes when called.
Has extensive vocabulary.
Orange one is Buddy. He had bad eye issues when young. Loves belly rubs.
He will also get into the shower with you. Very mellow, total sweetheart.
Both still have seperation issues. 2 years.

This batch was found in a ditch around the corner from our house.
Simon (formerly Sarge) is very stocky and solid. Smart, too.
Knows how to tense his muscles so he feels twice as heavy.
Kind of a bully to the rest of the crew but sweet to people.
Stripey (also Fluffy) has a VERY loud purr and a good vocabulary.
I call these two "dilute tuxedo" coloration.
Elvis (also Flip, or "that misunderstood white cat") sneers (like Elvis)
Sometimes will stand on hind legs and flip and turn about.
1.5 years

So, 2 years ago we had zero, now we have six. Uhhhhhh, yea.

Toby, Smokey, and Theo. Toby and Theo, the two Tabbies, were strays. Smokey, the big grey cat, came from a litter from one of my mother in law's cats.

OK hers is my little MingMing. I gave him a small piece of shrimp when he was a little kitten winter before last, so now he lives with us but still visits his real family from time to time who lives behind me. He is a black tabby according to my vet.

Wow this thread went crazy lol i didnt know all yall had cats well i cant get pics of mine . there all over the place today lol and i aint seen the out side cat in a week i guess he went home where ever that is lol

Here's my Fudgie Cat (Fudge) He looks black at first but he's actually like a dark chocolate with silver on his underside. Got him from a guy at work when he was 6 weeks old. Accidently broke his back right leg up close to the hip not too long after....about $600 at the vet and 3 pins and a splint later, his knee joint locked up and his leg is just straight except at the foot....looks kinda like a J or L, I call it the Leg of Doom, especially when your shirt is off and you're laying on the couch or bed and he jumps up on you and runs that leg, claws and all like a battering ram into your side or across your nipple...OUCH!! gRrrrrr.
Still uses it to jump and run...not so good on lanoleum or hardwood floors though...slips right out from underneath him. Other than that, he looks like he's got a peg leg walking around.lol He's over 4 yrs old now.
When my wife and I were engaged, she thought she was alergic to cats...she was growing up...so begrudgingly I was gonna give him up to one of her best friends, I hate to say it but, I actually broke down and cried like a little girl in front of my wife and her friend when I dropped him off and he just looked at me like..."wtf?" He wouldn't sleep, eat, or anything, lost over 5 lbs, ended up peeing on her friends music that she wrote for school and crapping on her bed all in a week's time....and he's litter trained by the way...she said if I don't come and pick him up he's going to the humane society....as soon as I arrived, he ran right to me and when we got him home he went right to eating and used the litter box. Cat is so attached to me that if I even go to the bathroom and close the door he's right there pawing at it and meowing like it's the end of the world. He'll only let me pick him up and will bite/scratch anyone else, although he's just now warming up to my wife after 2.5 years, lol. Craziest thing..but he's my buddy.

My two boys they are brothers from the same litter and are almost 4 years old.
They come out into the garage and bother me when I am under a car

Brothers from the same litter ? How did that happen ? 8)

Okay, whewwwwwwwww finally done with the nightly update reports so I can finally toss some fur at this thread. The contributions already are awesome! Ya'll have some gorgeous felines!

It's no big secret that we're cat people too. I'm way too tired and brain dead for stories but I've got a little kitty **** to share.

Poof (front) and Martin, PSC shop mascot known as "The Big Man" at 26 pounds ...

View attachment Martin and Poof.jpg

This is Randal Graves giving some center caps the PSC Cat Scan (the whole litter's named after "Clerks II" cast members ... also have Dante Hicks, Jay, Silent Bob and Becca)

View attachment 051 - Copy.jpg

Poof obviously plays the field ... she likes Martin for his hot bod but she LOVES sleeping with Billy! (That was just from yesterday ... I sooo have a new background pic on my computer now heh hehhh)

View attachment 044 - Copy.jpg

Today she helped me ... that note in front says "God put me on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. I'm so far behind that I will never die."

There's more of course ... but that's for another day. I'm toast. :-D

Drive48, Is that a purebreed Maine Coon? I had one like that once (named Ash). Found her when she was under 5 weeks old, she became huge (and I do mean HUGE!) One of her paws would easily fill the palm of my hand.

One of my customers once id'd her as part Lynx/Bobcat and part Maine Coon.

Let a cat that size sleep in your bedroom... I woke up at 3 am to a pair of eyes 2" from my face, and a paw batting my nose for attention... (she loved attention) I rolled over, headbutted the night stand, fell off the bed and the alarm clock bonked me in the back of the head.:eek:ops: :D
