What the heck happened? '65 Belvedere...

-
Insurance trying to re-coop their loss.
When I biult my 65 I would love to have the rear bumper and tail-lights.
That car looks like it ht the rear of a semi at 120+ mph

I love that..Primary Damage: ALL OVER...DUUUUUUUUUUH ya think so Jack!! lol. Thats a sad sight really though.

The one shot of the steering column says it all...that ain't ketchup, that's "BioHazard." And the cinder block (CMU) in the engine bay speaks volumes, too.

It's being auctioned out of Rancho Cucamonga. One of the Mopar guys from down there knows what happened.

wow...I actually just expanded that steering column pic. That is not something I would ever buy nor try to sell off.

Noticed nobody has bid on it yet? Maybe the 'auction' hasn't started, but I think most folks would steer clear of this.
I don't ever pick parts off rigs that look like somebody was killed in them

$54,000 value, and $56,000 to repair?

I always avoid parts from cars that were involved in anything even close to fatal,....Bad Juju...

That's just plain indecent and inconsiderate.

i agree! i cant believe these people would have the nerve to auction off someones last ride like that. that is downright disrespectful. that entire car should be buried

kind of looks like it was tossed around in a storm more than an accident.

ya, with someone in it

I remember this car from a forum. Maybe fabo or mopar style. It was beautiful.I may be rethinking a full cage in my car.

Iirc, a few months back there was a thread on here or one of the other forums and the car hit a telephone pole or light pole at a high rate of speed killing two or three people. I don't remember to much about the story though. Seems that it was some younger people and it wasn't their car if memory serves me rite

Only way I would touch that car would be to pull the dana 60 if it had one.

That is bad, bad, bad. Biohazard is right. My sympathy to the drivers family.

Wow,anyone else notice the front wheel with the drum hub intact and in fair shape. I wonder if he lost a spindle nut at a high rate of speed. If it had hit hard enough to pull the nut off it would have broken the mag spokes loose from the rim. Just wondering. I,m gonna do a safety check of my car before it leaves the garage.

Yup, that was nasty, but only 1 person in that one.

This car shouldn't be sold, but alot of newer cars where people died in them are being stripped or sold all the time. I used to go to a lot where they had cars in accidents, lots of cars had blood and nasty stuff in them, all were for sale....creepy....

I actually wonder why they don't just shred the car

even cars that are in the yards i go to take a minute (or someone does) to clean up the mess in wrecks that you know someone perished in. i think its just dis-gusting that people would try to sell **** like that. makes my stomach turn.

'64, post up...maybe it'll spark some memories. When I see stuff like this all I can think is "Damn!"
