It´s a 1971 Plymouth GTX from Revell/Monogramm.

Thanks Nite Moves!:pl: I have to admit I was hesitant about entering but after doing so I'm even more hesitant about entering again:-? Lot's of great talent here and some real nice models, just not my "cup of tea" so to speak
 
Chalk one up for Moparbrad, that paint looks like glass. I really think the cameras being used are killing the perceived quality of some of these models. They all look great to me though guys, obviously lots of talent on here! I'm tempted to get some of my unfinished ones out this winter now.
 
Thanks for the votes guys. I agree, some of these cars would look better with better picture taking techniques...or better cameras. I just used my iPhone. Probably not the best to use for detail :banghead:
 
Many moons ago I used to build contest quality models for National competition. This car was built for the 1987 Northwest Challenge held in Dallas, Texas. It took second place in the Replica Stock Class.
I've kept it in a case in my office all these years. I took it out a year or so ago and gave it a quick quick polishing......It really hasn't held up too bad for a 27 year old build!

I vote for Mopar Missy....She is beautiful....Post #56.......Oh, wrong type of model.....Sorry wrong contest......In that case, I vote for Jamesdaytona....It takes some thinking to make them look rusty and weathered.... that tattered and torn vinyl roof is awesome detail......Great Job!
 
Not cars, but 1/1800 scale ships I have done for the table mini game, War at Sea.
First is a proposed Iowa Class battleship conversion to an aircraft carrier.

Second, we have the. USS. Olympia. She survives today but is falling victim to neglect and mismanagement.

This is USS Texas. I made this one with turning main guns and case mates. She too is in dire need of a hull repairs.

Last we have my idea of what a WWII era HMAS Australia would have looked like had she not been scrapped in accordance of the Washington Naval Treaty.

Wow! A lot of incredible talent posted here. This kind of perfection i would never be able to accomplish. Difficult to distinguish from an actual car on some. Thanks for posting them up for us to see. I would bet you fellas could really work a old rallye gauge cluster into shape .
Much to hard to choose just one so I'll just enjoy the show.
