What in the world is NASCAR thinking with this idiotic method of qualifying?! Who cares what F1 and those series do.It does nothing but make it totally unentertaining for the fans and expensive for the car owners.:protest::wack:

Yeah but the NASCAR fans are eatin it up hook line and sinker. Kinda says a lot about the mentality of today's NASCAR fan. Exactly WHY I am no longer a fan. It's become a "sport" for idiots.

Not ALL NASCAR fans. I know a lot of them who think it's pretty stupid, me included.

It's nascar, very very very little going on anyway.

it is a fuster cluck for sure. nascar feeds off of trashing 100 thousand dollar race cars

I'm not a NASCAR fan any longer. Used to go to Daytona, Taladega, Darlington, and Richmond, for just about every NASCAR race at each of those tracks.

The last NASCAR race I attended was the Daytona race when Earnhardt killed himself.

I'll catch the occasional race on TV, but, between the news Spec cars, the rules changes, , the TV Commercial caution flags, the Green-yellow-green-yellow-green-white/yellow-checker finishes, and the boatloads of BS, I'm just not into "Reality TV Racing" with phony drama.

Just another Nascar screw-up. Really, since when is there playoffs in auto racing. I'm just waiting for the day when someone just outside the "chase", goes on a tear & wins 4 or 5 of the last 10 races. Consistency doesn't matter anymore, all youi've got to do is fluke one win & you're in the chase. Finish in the top 5 without winning all season gets you nothing.
I still like watching races but as far as the championship, I could care less.

Amen Brother Frank. 100% spot on. Every single word.

I watch but don't take it to seriously. Just like a reality show. Nascar is always trying to play God.

I think qualifying should be done as close to race time. The way the car is set up for qualifying is the way you start. After 2-3 laps of single car qualifying car goes in lock down til the race.

I respect those who are no longer fans of NASCAR but I am a racing -hi performance junkie and watch because it's what I like to do. I don't agree with all the tweeking of the rules NASCAR and NHRA do but will continue to watch. Qualifying aside I enjoy the racing of today just as much if not better than "the old days".

Hendrick motorsports on the front row ya' baby:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

I thought I was the only one who hates the new qualifying method!

NASCAR knows they have problems, but doesn't have a clue how to fix them. I had two preferred seating licenses at TMS since before they opened, but sold them a few years ago and haven't attended a race since.

To get me back, they will have to run stock-shaped bodies, engines based on production designs, and DOT approved tires. Let the car companies build better race cars if they expect to win, and get the sanctioning body out of the car designing and building business.

Never was a big fan after the '60's. Started to bore me. I have driven a stock car a couple of times, and that I could do all day. If given a chance don't turn it down. When it comes to racing I prefer the 12,000hp version. Don't have to wait forever to see who wins.

NASCAR? Too many unnecessary rules and not enough pure racing. The only good thing about NASCAR in the past few years is the safety rule's changes.

Geez jealous much..hey we're is Dodge starting..LMFAO..

for a guy that supposedly has a mopar , on a mopar site, I wouldn't think you would be making fun of the fact that dodge pulled the plug on their nascar program. you must be one serious chevy ___. at least dodge went out with a championship, how did your hendrick queers finish last year?
