Ok fellow A body members, I need your opinion. I need to know how long I should wait for parts that I paid for before becoming a jerk about it. As of tomorrow, 6/26/2015, it's been exactly 1 month since I was notified that my payment was received. I still have no parts, my money back, or even a tracking number that I 've requested and was told would be provided. I paid with a US postal money order so I should be able to get my money back if need be. What do I do, be a nice guy and wait a little longer OR become a jerk about it?????? 34069valiant, where's my trans or my money???????????????????????????????????????????? Nick Mchenry from Billings,
Montana

I give you permission right now. I assume you are intimating that you've had no comment from the seller?

well...tough decision in a way if the seller is communicating...has a good record...maybe a problem...or no communication and a new seller...a month is too long for the parts to be shipped...I wouldn't of waited this long.....the dogs are barking

i would be very concerned if i were you i hope it wasn't for a large sum of money .

Right now there no tomorrow, does not look good, you never know maybe he had a stroke or worse.good luck:happy1:

I'm trying to be decent about this as I have had nothing but great transactions in the past on this site. I just think a month is a little long. I have had communication from the seller. The last message that I received was last Tuesday, saying that everything was shipped and I will get a tracking number. No parts, no tracking number, and it doesn't take 9 days to get it here, I don't care where it's coming from.I won't say who it is just yet just in case there was a legitimate screw up. I'm just getting nervous, after being burned once in the past.

it is not like u are in antarctica, 1 month is way too long, has the seller contacted u? if not name its name

I would try to talk to him and let him explain why the wait.
Give him one last chance to make it right. Then if you don't hear or receive tracking number, then do somthing (is he a member here?). I will tell you one time I waited over a month for new marker lights for my 68 Dart when I sent a few nasty emails, he replied and told me a close family member of his passed away. A month in my opinion is not crazy long, but 6 weeks is... good luck

Just because you paid with a money order doesn't mean it will be easy to get your money back. You may never get your money back. Money orders do NOT have a guarantee of anything.

The only thing paying with a money order does is make the seller guilty of mail fraud if they do not uphold their end of the bargain. Why people think that's anything of a guarantee I have no clue. It means NOTHING for the buyer. One more time. NOTHING. NADA, ZILCH. NOT ONE DAMN THING.

Paypal is the only way I know of to pay for goods that offers buyer protection. Use it, or pay the consequences.

A month seems crazy to me. I just dropped a box off at the post office today - it's headed to Timo in Germany. ETA is 10-15 days and that is a third of the way around the world....

You are partially to blame for "this mess" by sending a money order. You should know better. A personal check is a better choice because it is a binding contract enforceable by LAW. A money order only has the threat of mail fraud. While it IS a felony, big whoop. It does nothing for YOU, the buyer.

Wake up folks. Do what's right for YOU and protect yourselves, because no one else will.

Way too many threads on here not to know. And too many "sick" family members too. Unless you out him, you are probably toast on this deal. No one should be so careless as to not keep the buyer up to date on progress of the deal. My wife fell down the steps and broke her foot. Not good. I had sold something that day. Rainyday auto and Ragtopfury had the parts shipped anyway. With communication, until the air cleaner and cam kit arrived.

Unless he's the one that died, it takes little effort to convey that a death occurred. Even if you have 20 people waiting a blanket pm/e-mail to all takes 10 minutes. Bad form in my book.

i went thru something like this a week or 2 ago.soon as i posted the members name i got a response.also got damaged parts but that's a story for another time.way too long to wait.call him out.

I`m waiting on a set of rear sand tires for my 4 wheeler. been a month and three days since I paid for (ordered) them. the were listed as in stock at the time. have had communication w/ the company, they said they are back ordered from the manufacturer. I paid w/ paypal, so I don`t need to worry too much about it, just tired of the wait !~:wack:

Unless these parts are coming from Guam, a month is ridiculous. You knew that before you even thought about posting this thread. With that being said, take action by outting the guy or organization. Bitching and moaning gets nothing accomplished!!

if he is in my area,me and my friends smith and wesson, can give him a visit
