I live ten miles outside of Philadelphia. While we have our share of wildlife they seem to be getting bigger.

I managed to get a shot of this little guy. I say little only because there is one that makes four of this guy.

yep.... coons are crazy over-populated where I live

We've got some big critters on this side of Philly too. I live about 15 miles SW of the city and we have lots of deer, raccoons, groundhogs, wild turkey flocks, and there's even a grey fox that runs through the neighborhood at night that's the size of a German Sheppard.

My yard is like wild kingdom. This is really a suburban area. Yesterday I spotted four baby groundhogs.
Foxes. Rabbits out the wazoo. Sometimes deer.

In the fall I had four turkey buzzards that came around everyday for a few weeks.

I live in downtown Coeur d Alene, but there's some hills ?? 1/4m away. One day I think spring before last about March I was out in the back yard and a whitetail doe goes sashayin' down the alley, not a concern in the world!!

Funny you mention those birds. We had one hanging out on the railing outside the family room just today...

They have a huge wingspan
They sure do, it's like 6 feet. The one I posted came down gliding across the face of the neighbor's house before it landed on the railing. At first I thought it was a shadow from an airplane I was seeing on their house.

This little bastard was tryin to break in my house. Was hoping the dogs would chase him off but he kept coming back till I had no choice but to off him. Don`t know what happend to mama as I never seen her around.

How about a little (or big) Wild Turkey walking across our front yard.

We have a local wild turkey flock that hangs out in the pines along the parking lot at Dunkin' Donuts. Sometimes they are out and milling around in the drive-thru lane shutting it down. I wish I had a pic, it really funny because it looks like the flock has stopped by to get coffee and donuts to go!

Every now and then we get a bald eagle around here, just amazing to look at for sure.

I can see it now!! That would be funny.
