There was a nightclub band called Shakey Jake back in the 1970s that played locally in SoCal. My buddy knew one or two of the guys in the band. I think one of them owned a car that he bracket raced at Orange County International Raceway. I will check with him to see if that car was a 69 Dart.Also, if anyone knows of or has info on the '69. I would like to know. It was supposedly raced quite a bit in California then brought here to Oklahoma in the 80's. The previous owner passed away in the early 90's and my friend bought it from his wife. She didn't know any previous history. The car has pinstriping all over and is signed "shakey jake" I'll have to get a pic of the signature. It's pretty damn cool.
This has gotta be a record for a thread going south....
