Very nice car! Love the green!!! At 525 hp, keep chipping away... there’s a 10.90 in there somewhere.

Any more pics, by chance??

Thanks for that Doug, haven't been chasing that 10, already in roll bar territory and been told a few times its time.
Definitely pushing my luck without one just cant bring myself to install one in this car, besides up here in the north tough to get classic car insurance
when they see a roll bar installed.
Couple more pics, thanks for the interest.

I don’t know if that would be a “legal option” to perform.

Beautiful ride. What did you do to lighten the car? Looks like a full interior; fiberglass hood? Is the batt in the trunk?

Hey RB, thanks, really have made no effort to lighten car other than the fiberglass hood. Has a totally restored full interior ,battery still up front, was an exceptional 1 family owned original steel real F6 green dart 340 swinger that I won off Ebay a few years back. Basically did a repaint, restored interior, removed original numbers 340 drivetrain which I have sitting and replaced with existing power, has SS springs and Caltracs which work not to bad.

Updated time - 11.77@114 @ 5900ft da (Sea level is gonna be a blast)

I broke some top end stuff, so ended up buying new trickflows and getting it all sorted. This was the shake down run 32* total timing and baby soft launch, 1st and 2nd gear were shifted at 5500rpm and it sounded and felt good so I let it ride out 3rd, now through the traps at almost 7000rpm (6400-6500 with the other heads).

2nd run, Shift light set at 6500, footbrake to 2500, timing at 34*. Launched so hard it threw me back in the seat and pulled my seat mount through the floor which caused me to shift into 2nd about the 60ft mark. Still ran 11.83. I guess i'm gonna need to strengthen some stuff.

That's pretty impressive! I'm building a '72 Scamp for the street and strip and think this would be a decent combo. Was it the KB107 Pistons you used? And did you have the heads ported? Would like to know more if possible. Thanks!

Later on this engine was rebuilt after 6 seasons of racing. The engine was perfic. The valve springs were tired and needed replacing. He added a little more port work and we added the 320 degree-.620 lift soild lifter Purple shaft cam. It went 11.30 @119mph. All day long..............
