65 dodge dart gas pedal location v8

I have a 1965 dodge dart that came from the factory with slant 6 1 barrel carb and an automatic tranny shift on the column . Im getting ready to switch over to a modified 360 and it still has the slant 6 throttle pedal set up. I would like to switch over to the stock v8 throttle pedal set up if its not too expensive other wise i have a v8 throttle pedal with bracket for a 74 a-body car that i can install but dont know where to install the set up on the firewall?? Does anyone have a factory v8 set up? Anybody have photos to show me where either one needs to go? Both sides of fire wall etc thanks

X3. Remove your /6 pedal assembly, peel the insulation back a bit on the firewall and hold the V8 assembly up. Line up the hole the cable goes through with the big hole in the firewall and you'll see the indents.
