Curious. I've heard about these but not sure what the purpose is to use clamps? Also howdo they go on as far as orientation front segment back? They look neat.

There purpose is to go on the front segment of the springs to help reduce movement and stiffen the front.
As an added move, you go to the rear of the spring and remove the band clamps there in order to free the spring.
This helps drag racers out the meat to the ground.
