And, includes one of a kind paperwork from Bill Weertman, creator of the engine.
The documents are about the corrections required before the model could be made for production.
I plan to sell it and am trying to put a value on it. I worked for Chrysler Engineering 37 years and bought this from a guy in the 80s that worked with Bill in 1961.
(that's how he got the documents)

Any input appreciated.

Thanks.

There's ONE on ebay now. Not complete. Over 300 bucks.

Photos. Figured I'd need some to sell it sooner or later!

Letter is 6 pages long with some diagrams.

I had one of these models. Sold it at a swap meet in 2014 .. it was the most detailed model I ever had... even factory part numbers on some external parts! Very cool piece

I will help you out a bit. There's 2 of them on E bay right now. Your link above is out of date and doesn't work so I did a couple screen shots. Here ya go.

So, $300. for mine would be a fair price for the buyer, and me.
Mine is mint boxed complete....

Do the world a favor, and scan and publish those documents before they get lost or destroyed.
That shouldn't devalue the kit any and having the originals in the kit will likely increase its value to collectors once they're published.

Kinda like the value of an original build sheet over a repro.

While the eBay listings are interesting, it’s worth remembering that a listing price is not always a good indication of value. You need selling prices for that. Listing prices, or wishing prices as they’re often called, can reflect the needs of the seller rather than actual market value. It might be a good idea to add the models to your watch list and keep an eye on them for a while. If they don’t sell then they’re likely over priced. If they do sell you’ll have a better idea of what they’re worth.

Well they are in business, but it's all in Germany. Revell-AG.
When I was a kid I was an avid model builder and I learned to avoid Revell kits like the plague. The quality on some of the kits I’d purchased from them was really, really bad. Others were quite good. But since the boxes were sealed I never knew what I would find inside if I took a chance, so I stuck with Monogram, whose quality was consistently high. That being said, Revell Germany has always been known for quality.
