WELCOME to the JUNGLE, hope you got thick skin, if not ,you will be mad all the time, Oh by the way "MAY the Force be with YOU ",,, if not ,then "MAY you live long and PROSPER....

Dipping the trim with the carbon fiber look could be cool, plus a lot cheaper to do. You can always reverse that later on if you decide you want chrome and polished stainless. Theres people here that redo that type of stuff.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Also, it’d be a bit different

I love your build so far! The rear wheel wells look great. Back in the day, my buddy and I did the same thing to a 65 Valiant drag car we built. We used front fenders from a 64 Valiant parts car to make them, and did the L to R, R to L swap the same as you did. Your trim on the tops of the quarters, and your wheel well trim is stainless, and should polish up nicely. Find you some front trim from a 66 Cuda to make new rears if you haven't done so already. The tail light housings are pot metal, and there's not much help for them other than rechroming. Your headlight rings are aluminum, and usually have had the hell beat out of them. I got lucky and stumbled into some nice ones for dirt cheap at The Mopar Nationals, and will just have to polish them. Laysons sells them, but they are as expensive as you would expect them to be for a low volume seller item like that. Keep up the good work, and welcome to FABO. :)

Here is todays photo. Covered in heavy primer .

I got a set of Valiant spears for the rear bumper caps if you want them, one has a hairline crack in it but if your going to carbon fiber wrap them, they would look fine, black CF on white back there may be a nice touch to soften that body line. Would be nice to donate something that the world's gonna see on a stage someday! Unknown car in pic to show rear spears.

I appreciate the offer! However, they aren't my style.

Happy New Year!

Sweet ride! It looks like you may have installed the rear bumper brackets upside down tho? Or left for right etc?
