I havn't found any so far but this one was used by an officer as a base vehicle. It has military font VIN numbers etched into every window.Just curious... What did the Army use these cars for? Any historical pictures showing them in use?
Yes Sir... Waiting for the engine to get back from the machine shopRight down to business!

lol, that's not unique, that's deformed.
I thought so. I've never seen a military car before. Trucks and jeeps for sure but not a car.Now that is freakin' unique as hell.
lol, it's got a 3 speed wiper! The fender tag must be pretty short... I can’t imagine the government spending money on options.
Yeah, back in the 40'sI thought so. I've never seen a military car before. Trucks and jeeps for sure but not a car.

Awe for forks sake!
Base line. 225, auto, air conditioning, power steering and manual disk brakes. No trim which is why I like it. Plain Jane. The fender tag must be pretty short... I can’t imagine the government spending money on options.
US Army Staff carI thought so. I've never seen a military car before. Trucks and jeeps for sure but not a car.

More than likely. I remember the Dodge motor pool too. Guess they had valiants back thenMAYBE motor pool transportation , company commanders base car . We had 4 door dodge pick ups when I was in the A. F. .
Rare= nobody wanted them when they were new either!
My friend has a '62 Plymouth 4 door that was originally a US Forest Service car... Big block with 3 on the tree.
I actually thought it was a 198. Last owner swore it was. Checked the casting and nope lol. Officers are too lazy for 3 tree. You gotta love those Plain Jane looking 4 doors!
It would be better if it had the base 198, 3 in the tree standard transmission, manual steering and brakes, and radio delete.
Now that would be a base model!
