I found a car with this slant 6 engine. According to what it says on the air cleaner, is there something special about this engine in terms of horse power?

Pull the air cleaner off and see what kind of a carb it has - one barrel or two barrel? A one barrel is plain-jane but will work fine until the cockroaches inherit the earth. A two barrel is a nice upgrade. Some photos of the rest of the intake from the other side will help evaluate it.

It's a one barrel.

I'd tend to agree, but I've seen two versions where a two-barrel was migrated onto a one-barrel setup. Looked the same from the angle in the photo but had been adapted below the air cleaner.

Thanks, I kinda sorta thought it might be two barrel. I should have taken off the air cleaner to have a look. No wonder my dad's big 'ol '65 Dodge moved so slow with that one barrel carb! lol

Just remember "Super 225" and "Super Six" are not the same. The Super Six was the name for the factory 2 barrel engine. What you have is a one barrel. Here's how I know. If it had the two barrel flange on the intake, you could see the edge of the flange, because that is a small diameter air cleaner. You can see no intake flange, so it's a one barrel.

See how close the intake flange edge is to the stud hole that holds the intake to the exhaust manifold? Now look in your picture. If it was a two barrel, the edge of the intake flange would be clearly seen. It's not. Still a darn fine engine either way.

Thanks, RustyRatRod, you know your stuff! I still might try to buy that engine. It's a Canadian made '65 Valiant ragtop with a Dart front clip. Unfortunately the body is totally roached out everywhere with rust, and I mean swiss cheese and potato chips all over the place. The engine oozes with cool factor. Not sure where I would keep the engine if I bought it, considering that I don't even have a garage, but I sure want it.

Its a one barrel look at the choke. Super six two barrel have a different choke orientation

I’m going to agree with the rest of the enthusiasts here. The Super 225 air cleaner decal you’ll find on the Plymouth Slant6 single bbl engines. The Charger 225 decal will be on the Dodge single bbl engines. I have the Super Six modification on my own Slant6 engine. I’m running the Carter BBD 2bbl, that I pulled from a early 70’s 318. My air cleaner is an after market chrome 14”x3” with 2 bbl adapter. The factory 2 bbl air cleaner has the belled snorkel for the Cold Air System.
