Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Just finished today’s Home project. I had to dig out a bunch of dirts and rocks, put in pavers for the rear legs to sit on and be level with the front and added Plastic cup wells with drainage for the rear legs to keep the mulch away from them. Also had to trim the hedge back about 6” to set it in place.

I think it adds a nice inviting space to sit in the front of the house.

Looks good. Hopefully that bush survives after being cut back that far.

One of the few Bowties I would allow to occupy my driveway
A couple friends of mine. Both have passed away. The yellow one I did just for fun.

They called it "The Green Sardine" It had green laced painted panels on the side that looked like fish scales.
It ran 11.70's in the 1/4

Those shrubs are pretty much indestructible. When we first moved in, I cut them all down to 10” tall stumps with no leaves or branches and they came right back. They had been poorly trimmed for years and the only thing I could do was to try to get them to start over and shape them properly from there.

Sob learned new family history today. Check this out. We were going thru stuff when my grandfather today, found a sealed, Johnny Cougar Mellencamp album, autographed with a personalized thank you note for being “rock in babysitters”. Apparently my grandmother and her mom used to baby sit for Johnny and his younger sister was back when.
That is fricking cool! Im a big fan of him and that is just a cool story, do you have a picture of the album?

82 degrees and mowing grass. had to cut front yard again, it was looking ragged. Much better now. Finished off the back 9 finally. Some of it was a foot high.

you know, I'm surprised CA hasn't found a way to tax the number of sperm or eggs a person has

BUT, I live on the west coast!!!!! Not supposed to be this hot/humid!!! We pay the "good weather tax"!!!!

Yeah, but I'm in Chicago and we're not supposed to get into the 90's until June or July... :mob:

I'm back from another day at the office lol! Here's a pic, trying to show how rugged the terrain is at the mountain site (Index) that I went to. I can see why this power outage is going to take a while for the PUD to repair. I was only at 1000-1500 feet or so where I snapped this pic.
