I have a pair of originals, but they are pitted, and should be rechromed.

I just saw a set of those recently for sale .
I think they were NOS and cheap .
I remember thinking "boy that seems really cheap ! ". I didn't know the application though

Yeah......they sure are strong though. I'll get a pair if I have to. Having only one eye, I got to have good rear view vision.

It’s hard to find a nice original, but if you can live with a few pits in the chrome or a little wear they are pretty easy to find, they used them on many different models and years up through 1966, maybe some 67’s too

The mirrors are perfect, the top mirror chrome has very minimal pitting. The bases have a lot of pitting. I would call them driver quality. I will ask my son to take some pictures.
