Trick Flow small block heads

-
Got it to the track yesterday. Got a good hit before brake line leak ended the night.
Went 10.63@ 125 off the trailer. Only 1.50 60 ft.
3000 ft DA

6.70ish 1/8? High .40's low .50's when it's sorted out you think?

Not sure what his combo is but it sounds like it needs some work. Air conditions sound typical for most of us this time of year. I’m sure he will get it sorted out.

combo is in the quote i drug forward to post this.
3100, 727, 750, Victor, 12 to 1 ish stroker, flat tappet 264/268.
Convertor was for his old W8 combo from a few years back, so its far from optimal.
I figure it will run 30’s in good air easily enough once sorted.
That was literally the first pass ever with the new combo, only went 1.50
60’ can get much better for sure.
Still, not so hateful i dont think.

Loan him your 950 and see what it runs.

Might be a while before they test again, they built it to be a streeter.
My race season finally begins next week. Before Bowling Green i plan to swap in my 418 and put my topend and cam in it from the 360.
Whenever we can get to it, but like to swap and get an outing or two before BG for sure.
Just decided this the other night. Have the 360 shortblock sold to a buddy for his project, will race it till we do the swap

yep. Thrown on right out of the box, using the Mancini rockers
I would be happy with that off the trailer with a non optimized combo. And the mancini rockers are like they were built for the trickflows, excellent geometry, got a set of 1.5s on mine.

Trick flow finally has a batch of intakes cast for the small block head.
They are QC ing them right now. Might still be a few weeks before the public can get them, assuming everything checks out with the castings

No Halloween Classic this year so no rush to buy one for me.

What part number are these rockers? Their site is not conducive to gathering any kind of useful information on the products they sell.

Do you know about what they might cost?

i'm pretty sure he's referring to the intake manifold cost.
Ooops, oh well, might be good info for someone lol. Probably not allot of people know you can get the mancini rockers as cheap as I did, you just have to ask for them without the shafts/holddowns.

then you would have to buy shafts and hold downs if you didn't have some laying around. And with ARP stuff, i would just buy them complete. Not that much more, really.Another 100 bucks, then you have a proven bolt on deal that works well with the heads.

Yes, if you don't have the stuff its worth the extra $150, but I am sure I'm not the only one who already has more heavy duty shafts than I need and I like a different hold down as well. Just another option.

Think the rocker arm package is 449. So only a 99 dollar difference. But you make a good point if you have the stuff around

And then call b3 . Anyone measure for a correction kit yet for trickflows?
I just got my kit. I have comp pro magnums and trickflows. Looks like a fairly small correction compared to some I have seen.
