Never Forget September 11th.

90's club kid....lots of messed up weekends began and ended with the Newark P.A.T.H train to WTC. Even the bowels of those enormous structures were full of life and lots of memories... My last trip was March of 01. No, Ill never forget that day......

Thanks to all who have remembered!!!

Just an FYI... if you go to google there is a little tiny flag under the search bar... no link to a page about 9-11 or anything...it just says in tiny letters... remembering 9-11.

if you go to google on your phone or tablet... there is nothing to acknowledge this day!!!

google will celebrate gay day and other crap but not acknowledge the day Americans lost their lives on American soil!!!

WTF is this world coming to!!!
..................................
Many years back... We decided to go to Kennywood, an amusement park in Pittsburgh. Several adults and our kids. Big mistake, it was Gay Pride Day. The behavior and crude tee shirts were not family oriented. The best part was, it was Fathers Day too.

That happened at Disney world here in Fl. A fellow F/F took his family there and it turned out to be gay pride crap of some sort. He asked why he wasn’t informed when he made the reservation and they told him by law they couldn’t !
They asked what they could do to make it right. He said he wanted another reservation paid for at a different time. They said no problem. AND refunded all his money. Great world we live in.

A truly sad day for freedom, so many innocent people lost their lives that day, and many more in the days and months following. I will never forget that day, nor the sight of people jumping to certain death from the towers.
May all those who were lost because of that day forever rest in peace.
:(

It's a tough day to get through.

If you can get through this next minute dry-eyed, I applaud you. I try every year and still fail miserably.

Never forget.

For some reason I turned on the TV that morning. Saw reruns of the first plane hitting the tower. Then they said there was another plane in the area. I got a bad feeling. Then it crashed into the second tower. The whole morning seemed surreal. Then the pentagon got hit. Then there was a missing plane. They weren't sure where it was or what to do about it. Speculation was that it was headed for the white house. Ended up crashing. Saw the chaos in the streets of NYC. At that point I didn't know what was coming next. All air traffic was grounded. Saw people jumping and falling to their deaths.

We trained these people. And the training schools reported them to the FBI and other authorities. Who apparently didn't talk to each other.

What bothered me the most was a few days later, during the searching mission, a woman [I think she was the gov. of New Jersey was standing next to the prez. and stated that the air was safe to breathe!!!!! Knowing that Freon and fire don't mix, burning plastics are toxic, asbestos dust flying around, and other unknown chemicals present are hazardous to people nearby; I wanted to throw something at her. Many of the rescuers have died and more will die and more will suffer because of her statement.

A day not to be forgotten.
