After being laid up for 12 days unable to put a lot of weight on my foot (one trip to the doctor and one trip for prescriptions) I was finally able to put my shoes on. Suffering what I think was a bad case of Gout I was going crazy at home sitting, sleeping, sleeping, sitting. Got my shoes on and went to Walmart for some grub. Matt and I will be eating good this week. Felt good to cook again.

Do you cook that in the oven?

That would rock in an air fryer.

Show an “after cooked” this time!

Taste test time but this is about the finished product. I did just put it in for 30 minutes and upped the temp to 360 just to brown it some. I season semi lightly with garlic salt and I usually add a touch of sea salt to my serving.

Looks good, but I'd have to have some gravy

Trust me I like gravy but buttered potatoes suite me in this recipe. My dear mother that died in 2009 could make the best beef roast, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I swear I could eat a bowl of her gravy. I never learned how to make it and hate myself to this day.

My wife would not touch that....no greens. Me, however, I’d ask for seconds!

Probably good, I wouldn't partake, but I'd certainly have another beer.

Just looking at that sausage makes my gout flare up, that's number one on the list not to eat for gout. :(

Sure looks good though.

I wish I knew for sure if I had Gout. All the studying I did makes me believe I had it but their first thoughts were Cellulitis. They took blood but not out of my foot and being I had to see them fast (4th day after flair up) I saw a nurse. I won’t do that again.

The medication is worse, the doctor told me it was a liver killer if I kept taking it.

Same goes for stomach problems. You have to love those commercials that offer a cure but then list 10 side effects including suicidal thoughts!:(
