The internet is slow tonight

I run Ubuntu Linux. Just did an update (I do this manually) and YUP. SLOW Restart no help
 
Running youtube music videos while playing a game and pausing every 5 minutes to check fabo and downloading a movie with no problems here.
 
Mine is fine considering I've been on GENERATOR power for nearly 24 hours. That damn storm came right over us.

Trees down all over. Power company finally updated their site saying our section will be restored by 11am on SUNDAY!!

I have an older gas generator currently just running the refrigerator, internet, TV and Roku.

I'm gone from the house nearly 12 hours a day for work, but I feel for the wife and grandson.

Yeah my internet is completely down, acting up 1/2 hour ago and still down.

Farmington MN, 30 miles South of the Twin Cities.

My Fiber Optics Internet Service has been 100% reliable for over a year now, never even had to reboot the router once. So must be some major national feed issue over some of the main hubs.

Switched over to my Mobile Hot Spot with my cell phone working the internet off the cell towers.

Plan B back online with ths cell phone, will see when the feed through the fiber comes back on line.

We had no power for 2 weeks to the day , after the big ice storm a few yrs back , generator is a must .
 
Fiber internet feed is back online this morning, good as ever again.

All things need a little down time for maintenance, I will give them that.

Internet is VERY slow and sometimes nonexistent here in Oklahoma City. Haven't had power all week due to a big ice storm coming through and destroying everything. Power lines and poles are down all across the city.

@famous bob Did you get any ice in your part of the state?
 
havent noticed the internet being slow, but i did feel like FABO hasnt been as popping as it was, for the last few days or so

No , we dodged a bullit this time , almost , but not quite cold enough to freeze here .
Hope u get ot back together soon , elec. is hard to do w/o now a days .
You coming to mopars at the park ,on the 7th ??
 
I'll be there! The weather looks perfect. Im going to trailer my dart. My dad will drive my Viper. I am excited.
