m2 diecast anybody else into these

Found me a 64 camper van
Otherwise no other M2’s
I have 3 Walmart’s within 30 miles
Stock at all 3 is minimal or none

pa340dart the thing w the M2s is they have a following. Check walmart periodically, when these come in, they leave just as fast. Castline has made a name for themselves with their minature vehicle models.

Personally I hate Walmart
Cheap china @&$ *%#
I do hit them at least once / month
Some twice for the cars
Now with Covid my stores only use one door entrance & exit. Of course the door farthest from the toy section
Got some health issues and not ready for those electric cart just yet
Just seems they’re out of most brands lately. J Lightning, auto world m2 etc
It is fun when you find a new display
I got all of the A 100 vans in one store at the same time

Picked this up twice off shelf
Only because it’s a fiord
But the only Hurst car in 3 Walmart’s if seen so far
If someone is collecting the whole series and needs it they can have it for cost $19.97 + 6% sales tax + shipping

FIRST OPTION is if someone has an extra Hurst Barracuda I’m willing to do even trade

pa340dart , Are they doing a Hurst Barracuda in this larger 1/25th scale? I only have 1 spare 68 Hurst Barracuda in the smaller (hot wheels sized) 1/64th scale.

MM2000. Not sure but a worker saw me put it back on the shelf twice before I put it in my cart. He said that just came out this week with a white one but couldn’t remember the model
I couldn’t resist it even though a fourd
I’m going to check the internet tonight and my other Walmart’s
So if anyone finds an extra Hurst Barracuda !!!
Just Now my kid just found the mustang on the net listed 4 sale @ $47 and listed as from target??

A shout out to my good friend Dan Mr. IMFURYS for sending me the bootlegger series of M2 cars from Walmart for me and my son, along with a special custom made 1 of 1 diorama of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner with Wile E. doing what he does best with ACME products. Mr. Coyote and his cohort the road runner will be displayed on my bedside table. Maybe one day Wile E. will catch him some dinner

On a different note, I had been looking for these bootlegger series cars. Was a day late when they hit my Wally world, and most were gone by the time I found them, so I had originally just abandoned the idea of adding them to my collection back then. Thank you again Dan.

Matt, thanks for the shout out. I did like working on the Wile E. and Roadrunner diorama. Apparently finishing off that bottle (bomb?) of Captain Morgan Cinna-Blast rum bought out my "creative" side, lol.

We'll see what your birthday box contains in a little less than 2 months. Yes, the "Sensai" box has already started.

Supposedly a 6 car set, it was cobbled into by the time I found these. NHRA collectible M2s I liked the 1970 gatornationals 69 camaro so I got it. The straight axle 66 charger with hilborn injection looked too goofy for me so I left it at the store.

. Hi y'all

I have started collecting the m2 autothentics, and muscle cars mostly mopars, and some gm and ford in 1/64th scale. I think the detail and operating doors and hoods is really cool for this size. Their autohaulers truck series is pretty boss too. I got to have the hurst shifters hauler

Anybody else into these?

Matt

I do too.

My latest M2 finds.
The black '70 Super Bee 426 w/ sassy grass decals is now my favorite hauler combo.
Right now the 70' Super Bee model kit is now my favorite diecast -period. The gray paint on it has some metallic in it, when you shine a light on it, you get a colorful reflection back. With the white interior and body decals and black vinyl roof, it's a good looking car. You can even pick tires (raised white letter or redline) and wheels (rallye or Torq Thrust), if you are "one" of those people that opens them, lol.
Enjoy.

Dan, you got a nice collection started. I wanted to thank you for the Christmas surprise of M2s you sent to me and my son, along with the awesome hand done binders of barracuda manuals and reference material. I love paper manuals. I have a whole library of this stuff. Dan your the best, like a secret Santa, 2 huge boxes just show up on my doorstep with all this stuff packed in there along with a killer glass beer mug. How did you know I was on the hunt for the Hurst hauler and the speed dawg hauler, and that I love paper reference manuals? Heres a few pix

I have to start looking for those blister packs with the Charger advert, and Roadrunner with Goodyear advert. Stuff tends to show up at my walmart a bit later than everywhere else it seems. That's good though, I get a preview and know what to be on the lookout for.

Matt, that was nice, thank you for that shout out. The least grasshopper can do for his sensai and his apprentice. I'm telling you guys-N-gals that Matt's son is going to be one of the most Mopar knowledgeable young guys in a few years, if he keeps going like he has been. I wanted to make him his own set of references and make them special for him. So I'd copy days descriptions and pictures when Matt did his write up with Patrick in them. I used the photos on colored paper as section dividers in the FSM. Then the red book, has clear paper write ups and the colored pictures. All of these pages are in page protectors, with the exception of the Barracuda Book of Information '64 to '69. I just couldn't tale it apart to do it. This was my third set and my most favorite because it meant something to my Texas friends. I think it also told me that was the last set I was going to do. Although, I need to do a set for my '72 Fury III.
Only The Shadow knows on what M2's you'd like to have.
Still love the 70 383 Super Bee "model" box.
Thanks again 'bro, and Merry Christmas to all of us. Lord knows, we need it. This year we've not only fought the Mopar Madness we have, but did it thru 2020.
Peace,
Dan

So far, I think I've only seen those two. Like I said earlier, I seem to be having trouble finding new square boxes, but finding all kinds of stuff. I need to remind my son to keep checking Kroger. Hard to believe, but in there small toy section, they occasionally have some new/different M2's. I guess not many guys think about a grocery store for good die cast cars.
Uh, oops, disregard that last statement, apparently my eggnog wasn't right.

Yeah, that '64 Dodge 330 came from a Hobby Lobby. Their prices are about half again what WallyWorld is...but the WallyWorld is pretty well picked clean to the bone....so I got while the gettin was good...

Get a hobby lobby 40% off coupon online and it's not so bad. The JLs have some cool cars reproduced, but lack some of the detail I like. I do want to get one of their 65 barracudas though
