Ever feel like you are pinned in a corner....

in a quote attributed to Douglas McArthur

"The enemy is in front of us, the enemy is behind us, the enemy is to the right and to the left of us. They can't get away this time!"

I've faced things that I was unprepared to deal with, some of them almost none of us entered adulthood prepared for. At 61 years old now I can look back and see the hand of God teaching me the things that I needed to learn to be able to deal. Life is good these days (and to be truthful, it really always has been even on the days I didn't see it).

Living in a blue state YES !
I highly agree with Jim lusk' s post.
I put myself into a real **** life addicted to everything illegal & alcohol too, losing everything but a glimmer of hope, thanks to police who were allowed to do their jobs I got myself taken care of & learned to appreciate everything. The wealthiest I've ever felt was when I had 1 year sobriety, still had nothing but knew I could make a life if I kept trying.

I did not create my life nor can I control some parts of it, actually I can control very little of it. It's at those times that I hit my knees and push the load to my Father in heaven.

I currently feel pinned in a situation in regards to where I live but it doesn't stop me from forging ahead.... I know at the end of the day how truly blessed I am. Just last weekend I worked in a plant removing equipment my company purchased and I was tired, dirty, and flat wore out. And damn lucky to still have the juice to do it.....

The health of an individual is IMO where someone can feel pinned and no where to go. I hope that is not your case and if so you need to find out how to put a spin on it.... Anything else in life can typically be sorted out with sweat equity and forgiveness... That's my take on it anyways....
