6.4 VVT crank into 06 5.7 block? will it work?!

getting the crank shaft tonight! I know there is an area that needs to be machined off, but this could be an interesting piece of hemi fun! 3.725 stroke on the 6.4 crank vs. 3.58 factory

You're on the right track, I think. Should be interesting!
 
Shouldn't really have any issues. Just machining crank snout where timing gear goes. Get you almost 20 more cubes on a std. bore 5.7.

A blast from the past, MP stroker matrix of what was once available. 3.725 huh??? Look near the bottom of the graph! Check out the current bore and stroke of the Gen 3 HEMI engines. Hummmmmm

Yeah, I was off on my math. I think i figured 3.79 stroke.
 
NO a 6.4 crank wont fit in an early 5.7 block without machining the front snout down to clear. or buy a 09 to present 5.7 vvt block and it will drop right in.
