Agreed..Travel mug will empty the pot, may need to pick some up on the way though. Will be a long day, then Mopar Swap Meet in Waukesha, WI tomorrow, then work trip on Monday. Have to leave the house by 3am.

A wintery mix predicted for Monday. (I call B/S) I expect the weather folks to be wrong like they usually are. LOL

My buddy who's handled our money for 20 years, says that's coming in 12-18 months. It will correct and then take off again.
He's in town today for a race. We're meeting him for dinner tonight, I'll get an update and let you know tomorrow.

In June I heard.
Early indicators are showing a downward early to mid summer path.

I’d say he’s right in the ball park based on what I’ve looked at and what other “experts” are saying.

Thanks! I’ll probably move stuff back into a safe fund in a few weeks. Ride out the annual tax return bump. Then take my profits and try to keep from loosing too much.

We made it through 2008. I thing we moved all but 20% out of stocks to bonds. Lost less than 10%, and that was a short term loss.

Well I'm out.
We are off to Saturday morning tennis class drill class.
Then to breakfast.
Then to the flooring appointment.
Then to the new place to see what the flooring looks like.
Then freaking home I hope...:BangHead:

Getting ready for my first cup of coffee ever in the state of Kansas. Then off for pancakes with Leadfoot and '73red-duster. 1450 miles to get from home to Dodge City Kansas.

Yeah I learned my lesson hard in 2008. I was a state employee and they automatically put 10 percent of our pay into the Public Employees Retirement Fund. And then matched it dollar for dollar. I’d worked for them for about 2 years and despite only making 11 bucks an hour, had a little of 15k in it. I followed the advice of the fund a manger and let it sit as the collapse happened. I lost close to 90 percent, 4.5 years later when I left the state, i was forced to withdraw what little I had left, about 3500 bucks before taxes and penalties. I would have been able to roll it over but the new company’s policy was no roll overs until 90 days, I got laid off at day 87. And because it was a public employees only account, I was not allowed to keep it in, so they forced me to accept the withdrawal

So I went thru all the B S of installing the M/T valve covers on the Valiant. New set of stock powdercoated one's showed up at the door a few days ago.
Silence on the other end of the phone was classic.
Me. Hey brother the valve covers and new booster and master that you helped with the other week.
My brother. Yea what about them.
Me I think I want to change the covers to stock.
That's when the other end went silent.
