2023 14th Annual FABO NASCAR "Pick 'Em" Game - Here We Go Again!!!

#22 Logano and #9 Elliott for Atlanta win

Larson and Kyle Busch
Situation: I'm 4 points out of tying for 1st, and 11.5 points ahead of being 3rd. Both players picked 4 different drivers. Do I pick 2 different drivers and shake up the points, good or bad, or do I play it safe, and pick similar drivers and just hold my position for a better track?

Just as long as y'all post your picks before the green flag flies.
Otherwise, you get last-place points like I did a couple of races ago when I forgot to post my own picks in time.
You've got all day to think about it because of the late scheduled start at Atlanta.

I'm should be safe regardless, because I have locked in drivers, or should have.

Either way, lets roll with Hamlin/ Elliott.

I thought the opening pace laps with Richard Childress driving the original #29 Kevin Harvick Monte Carlo with Kevin in his current #4 ride and most of the spectators holding up the #3 salute was a wonderful tribute to Harvick's great 22-year career.

Congratulations to 'Avispa' (FABO), 'memike' (FABO) and 'ocdart' (FABO) for all picking #24 William Byron to win the rain-shortened Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Each of them picked up -5 bonus points for their pick.
No runner-up bonus points this week because nobody picked #99 Daniel Suarez to be the race runner-up.

#12 Ryan Blaney was the race leader at the end of Stage 1, #5 Kyle Larson was in 2nd place.
#6 Brad Keselowski was the race leader at the end of Stage 2, #12 Ryan Blaney was in 2nd place.

'ocdart' (FABO) had the low-net score honor for the race with 2.0 points.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget to get your picks for the Crayon 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway posted before the green flag drops at approximately 2:45pm EDT (11:45am PDT) on Sunday, July 16.

Your Pole Pick for Atlanta will need to be posted before qualifying starts at 12:50pm EDT (9:50am PDT) on Saturday, July 15.

New Hampshire picks:

Pole:
#20 Christopher Bell

Race:
#19 Martin Truex Jr.
#20 Christopher Bell

Let's do Blainy and Joey Lagono again, 12 and the 22 car please.

Congratulations to '44070dart' (FABO), 'ocdart' (FABO) and 'Yunick13' (FABO) for correctly picking #20 Christopher Bell to win the New Hampshire Pole. Each picked up -1 bonus point.

I dropped Bell and substituted Busch. I think with a green track, experience is going to prevail.
