Can you post a close-up picture of the fender tag?

Fender tag is located here if you did not know.

Looks to have a 67/68 front end. The hood is not 69.

It could be a 67 or have shaved marker lights. Pics aren’t clear.

The doors are not 67. Interior door lock location. 69 hood trim in the back .

Is that water underneath the gas pedals or oil. I had an oil gauge that leak and it looked just like that from the pictures course I can’t tell. I did have an air vent blocked on one of my e-bodies that leaked, but it was stored outside.

Try looking on ebay and similar selling formats to see what similar vehicles go for. You have the same internet the rest of the world has, right? We also have members in Canada. Maybe one in your area would be willing to go take a look at the car. Maybe you could throw some food and a cup of coffee at them for their trouble.

68 grilles, 68 hood & header, 69 tail lights, and i see stainless on the back glass. so probably 68/69 unless added. hood inserts are in the back with some trim rims that don't appear to match the wheels. painted bumpers (barf, barf, barf)

70's radiator, motor shows timing cover 70 and up master cylinder is a question mark, and what looks like something? maybe line lock? hanging off? wiring looks a mess, but oddly the bulk head connector looks new-ish?

on the plus side: i see a ballast resistor, so electronic ign. & some rusty headers

console automatic car, which is odd because that looks like three pedals there (clutch is against the firewall), factory tach in the dash is cool. some wtf-ery going down with the speedo.

the wetness on the floor? taste it and find out. but, it's likely brake fluid from a leaking MC that's roached or a compromised oil line for what is likely an aftermarket oil pressure gauge that's hanging under the dash next to the ignition.

as for WIW, i'd run some comps in your area and see. i don't think that's a smoking deal, but i also don't think that's wayyyy out of market. but there's a bunch of caveats that go with it such as does it have a title, are there any liens on it, are all the parts there, does the motor run, what is the rest: brakes, trans, rear end, how's the undercarriage look?

if you have some experience with these cars, a decent amount of mechanical knowledge and the ability to put in about half of what you purchase this for then it's probably a decent buy. but that's a pretty big project if you don't have all three of those you'll not get far.

12k ain't far off. Take the boy and climb under to chk #'s on the engine block as well as frame floors and trunk.
Lots of good going on but still some mysteries.

Let's see: new member that that just joined yesterday, sounds like I've heard this story before > but this time with pictures and a fender tag?
