Whiskey...........

I have a few bottles on display for when company comes over or there's a reason to celebrate. But for my regular drinking I have a handle of Evan Williams Bottled in Bond on the shelf. It's 100 proof and aged four years, but mostly it's affordable. I mostly drink it neat but have been known to throw a cube of ice in there or make an Old Fashioned if I'm feeling fancy.

Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve is my go to.

Hey Kim and George. I love Crown Royal, but can you guys get Forty Creek out there? It is made near here and it really nice to drink straight.

Hi Dan, thats nice of you to let us all know that, you get release from time out? How’s your search for an A-body going?
I was never in time out. It's going pretty good actually. I just never really cared for whiskey, I have drank jack Daniel's black label No. 7

Stay away from the peaty smoked labels....most of the smoked whisky comes from outer Islands or coastal areas. Inland and lower Highlands tend to be less smoky.

Glenmorangie is a great starter whisky.....remember that the older the bottle, the smoother the taste.

And although a blended brand like Johnnie Walker Blue uses whiskies of up to 60 years old....it has no age in its own right.
A blend has no actual age, just a magical taste. :)
Glenmorangie is one I have enjoyed, as well as Johnnie Walker red.

Yeah...it's actually not very good whiskey. AND, I like to think we've learned how to moderate over the years.... Yukon Jack, I still will not touch 40 years later
Yeah, it’s like Malibu, the smell my brother left in our room as a teen throwing up a shrimp burrito and Malibu, ugh, even 25 years later, gross….

Jack ruined me as a teen. Just the smell makes me want to puke. The gentleman Jack I’m ok with.
This coming September I haven't had any gin in 22 years, that was my drink of choice, gin and squirt. I'm lucky if I drink 2-3 beers a year. I think that 22 years is something to be proud of.

Yet you blamed me for "getting you banned" from the forum! Maybe you should hit that Gin again.. .. might help you with your personality disorders!

I wouldn’t say a bunch and some are of lower quality! But that was always my favorite. I may be biased! The box is long a thing of the past though.
