Anyone on here from SC besides me and Mully? I know I have seen some around. I live in North Charleston. Lets see how many we have here
 
Cool, you'll have to let me know when and we'll hook up when you get here. Everyone else too, I'd like to meet some of ya'll. Met up with BubbaC 2 weeks ago in Ga. super guy. I patrol the area of Dorchester County that borders I-95, so if anyone is ever pasing through that area between the 82 and 68 mile markers, let me know and maybe we could meet up for a few.
 
Pushrod, I went to the police academy with a guy named John Nix who is a cop up there in Greer. Bought a Trans Am from him. You dont happen to know him do you?
 
It would be cool if we met in Columbia ... kind of in the middle.

I don,t know him BBdart.Like Mully said Columbia might be a good place to hook up. I am thinking about going to the Run ito the Sun at Myrtle on Mar.19

I was talking to a friend who has a Harley Davidson. He said that he will not drive his Harley to Myrtle anymore because they have really cracked down on the noise. He said that officers have a equipment that they use and if it is over a certain decibel they will fine you. His Harley is kind of loud ... most are. It would seem that would put a hurting on the local hotels and stores. I mean Bike Week was a big thing back in the day. You don't think they do the same thing with hot rods, classic, and muscle cars do you?
 
Probably not. The ordainance was designed to help with crowd control problems they have. It is used somewhat selectively. We would have to run open pipes to compete with the Harley noise.
 
Yeah you can't cruise Ocean Blvd today. I think for everyone to stay in the same place would be cool. I like Barefoot Landing ( if it is still there ). iI is a trailer park but its affordable comfort. Shade trees, decks , grilles, even your own driveway. Park it right outside your door. Would you be my neighbor ? LOL
 
Sounds good to me. I usually stay at friends house in N. Myrtle maybe we could have cookout up there. Let me Know who's intrested.
 
Well that's good to know. One of these days I will have every little thing wrapped up and might drive down there. I will how ever take a fair amount of tools just in case. Can't be under prepared.

Almost forgot ...72demon340 is in Spartanburg

Heh! Yeah she finally started sleeping through the night a couple of months ago- AWESOME! While I got ya, who do you use for machine work around here? My block is going in the next couple of weeks.
 
B&M in Greer. Their # 879-1123 I think. His name is Darryl and he is reasonable. He built the 512 in my 69 Dart and it is fine.Are you going with the 360?
 
Don't forget me, Im in Spartanburg. It would be cool to meet up with some other Mopar dudes, Though I mostly look for C-bodies now, I'll look at any car LOL

Yup. I bought an Eagle 4" stroke crank to make a 408 out of it though. I'll give Darryl a call- thanks for the heads up, your the second mopar guy to give me his name.
