For you Seattle guys. I worked at Thrifty Car rental in the mid 80's, we rented those Shelby Shadows.

You know the exit from 520 west to I5 south, for those that dont, its a posted 35 mph 90 degree corner.

I took it at 100mph in that Shelby, not even a squeel from the tires, man those little cars were awsome.

I will answer my own. I did! At one point my dresser used to sit at the end of my bed... only a foot or two imbetween. So in the morning I would crawl down the bed and lean over the gap and shut my alarm off (which was on the dresser). Well one day I turned my bed the other day. I still followed the sound toward the alarm but intstead of a 1-2 foot gap it was changed to 3-4.... I missed the dresser with my hands and caught it with my head on the way down. I just sat there for a bit...
