I was talking with rementh and memike about some model building that has been going on and wanted to share some of my projects. I know there are some more members out there who enjoy the same. Heck most of us probably learned alot about cars building models. I know I did.
Please share anything you have done or are working on this winter.
Plus any tips are welcome to.
I have about 150 kits in various stages of build. All makes of muscle cars from the 60's-early 70's'.

Nice job on those models!!! I need to get a new camera so I can post some of my kits. I have over 200 built models from the past 25 years. Oh yeah, I like your paint booth.

That's a helluva lot more organized than mine is! I'm still digging mine out of boxes from when we moved in last year. I will say, though, that I just got a stool for my bench downstairs. Yeah, like that's an excuse.

I'll get out the camera and post some pics sometime this weekend.

Those look great. I have a Duster model I've had for two years and still haven't finished it.

Cool Model Cars!!!!!!!!! Everytime I build a model car or see one built (even in these pictures) it always sets my mind thinking as to what it would be like to be able to drive these cars. If only it could be so easy. I'm dreaming my life away........................

Cool models guys!! Nice little workshops too. I used to have a couple of those General Lee kits some thirty years ago. 8)

Here's a couple of mine built over the past 2 yrs. Pic #1 is a 1964 altered wheel base and # 2 are a pair of as delivered 1968 Hurst A-bodies all 3 of these have extensive modifications. I've been building for about 20+ yrs with most models being Mopars although there are are a few of the "other" brands

Wow cool kits guys I've got the my 69 barracuda in the same paint as my actual car , a 70 hemi cuda rag top in a dark metallic purple and am part way into a 66 charger kit I found .I'm getting pretty good at wiring up the motors to look real .I also have a 70 442 that I painted little rust spots and bubbles around the wheel openings and on the rear quarter that I did up with no wheels and the hood stuck in the car that I plan on using in a scene with all the pristine mopar in a driveway and the olds on blocks in the weeds lol - my boss has a70-442 that's the same color as the model .Thanks for the push I forgot all about them since last winter I'll have to drag the 66 back out and finish it if the weather ever go's bad here , Sorry for you snow guy's but another warm sunny day here.

I used to build models up until I was about 16. I did about 60 of them, then I developed some other interests.

This thread is inspiring me to build another one! Does anyone know if any company makes a '70 Swinger kit?

Thanks dge467. Please share your builds.

I built the paint booth in a couple of hours. Works great.

I started to pack some of my stuff away for our move but have since dug it back out. Looks like we are staying in Fla for at least another year or two.

This room was only possible after the kids moved out.:-D

I started building again about 20 years ago. Took time off in my late teens to chase skirts and party. My idea was to build a car show diarama. I still have the idea.:toothy10:
