I was missing these parts from day one so really don't know. The arm rests are supposed to be identical to a 4 door. I would say yes to short ones. The a-pillers I would say have to be metal since none of the other pieces were plastic...

The lifters were in a kit with the cam.

Your dead on. Upon further inspection I found the cam damaged as well . The lobe was worn considerably. I unfortunately am not always up on things like the low zinc so it bit me in the ***.

I've heard a lot of opinions there for sure over the years. I was very careful in my initial adjustment and set them loose for start up.

More less what I was wondering is anyone else having problems with this brand which it seems like a few. Just concerned about more failures.

At this point I wouldn't argue that the cup end may have been an oiling problem but the ball is not. More than enough oil sitting on top of the lifter. I can dig it out of the trash but all you going to see is a tube with no end. The ball just crumbled and fell off.
