Propane motors love compression and timing. I see it a ton in the off road world because it allows the motor to run a funny angles. Its considered the poor mans fuel injection. 13:1 compression is nothing unusual if propane is your fuel of choice.

Flowmaster 40 series are pretty loud, that what I have on my Jeep. Single Chamber Flowmasters seem to be a good bit louder. Both will give you a good drone while cruising.
Do you have receipts for the motor or anything? Could I see some pictures of the rust in the quarts, and some of the underside also? I've driven countless hours for cars that claimed they were rust free, and were far from it. Just don't want to waste time and fuel.
