I have no problem tuning a carburetor. I have no problem learning what I don’t know. I am still not sure if there is something wrong with this carburetor that has nothing to do with the normal idiosyncrasies of this model of carb.

Is it possible that something may have moved and maybe you just have an exhaust pipe or something hitting the body transmitting engine vibration into the vehicle?

Unfortunately I do have a true measured 11.5 to 1. I guess I should have specified that the flat part of the piston was at zero. There is a substantial dome on the piston with a notch for the spark plug.
