I have a 71 dart that I finished building in 2006. It's really fun to drive, built 400 eddy heads/727/8.75/mini tubbed/ springs moved in, 295/50/15s Looks stock, but the sound gives it away. I built it because its what I wanted to build, didn't want a 2 door.
I need some advice on selecting a fuel pump. I see Holley makes two fuel pumps for my vehicle. One that has a return and one that doesn’t. It’s a 2008 5.7 truck motor using the stock intake and injectors. It’s just a stock rebuild with a cam swap and Holley terminator x max
I’m going to rebuild a 46re for a 5.7hemi swap, will be about 450hp in a 3000lb vehicle. It’s just a driver, no racing. I was wondering if I’d be ok with a stock kit from rock auto or should I go with a better kit with the red clutches. Anyone have experience with this?
I’m at a crossroads deciding on an intake manifold. I rebuilt a 2008 5.7 truck motor, going in a 96 dakota. The only upgrades to the motor are a comp 268 cam and shorty headers. Using Holley terminator x max and 46re trans. For an intake im thinking of using a stock truck or the holley...
I just looks cool and runs great that’s why I have them on my desoto. I put o2 censors on it and tuned the carbs, I’m happy with it. It does have a quick off/on point a low RPMs. Offy intake with crossram adapters, 500cfm eddys on a 408/4speed/391s
As others said hedman b body headers. I have them on my 71 dart with a 400 I think I only had to ding them to clear the steering column near the firewall. It’s a manual steering car.
I had the long tube ones on order from summit for many months. Then one day they refunded my money without explanation. I called and they said they were discontinued. That’s when I ordered the shorties. Sorry to hijack the post
Where I’m at now with the motor-
