As far as putting that 440 in your Ramcharger, I say go for it. Tons 'o Torque! Should be a blast. I've wanted to find an old Ramcharger or Trailduster and drop in a big block for a long time. Good luck with the build!

I agree. Priced within reason too. I believe you can also use the B body HP manifolds on your swap as well. They worked great on my low deck swap. Better jump on it though.

$2000 is awfully tight for a big block build. You're going to have to shave costs wherever possible to achieve this budget. Shop for the Schumacher kit. Look for a good deal. I think I paid $75 for them. B-body HP manifolds will work also in lieu of headers. I went the 451 route and I ain't...
