  • hi ,a while back you posted kb 247 BUILD and was wondering if you can help me. I bought a 318 rebuilt motor off craigslist and it's all assembled now. ready to install. My concern is that according to the seller installed KB 167 pistons at 10:1. Should I disassemble the motor and calculate what the true compression is or take the chance that it won't ping with 91 octane in California.
    Thanks, George
    69 Cuda 440,

A while back you posted this info below. I am wondering is you revere the 3 and the 1 in the ID number meaning the carb you describe here is a 6319?

If not would you have the specs and CFM rating of a TQ 6319?

    Thanks in advance,
    Sbrinsky

Greetings from the Motor City. Looking for your input... As I am looking to buy an A body in Spring, '18, I was fascinated by your comment in Early Vs. Late A poll that 1970's models represented, "a break-thru year for A-Body Mopars with improved quality workmanship." Is that just a personal take, based on your experience and anecdotes or do you know of particular hard info on it?

    thanks,
    Brian
A while back you posted the June 1968 Issue of Super Stock & Drag Illustrated featuring Sox & Martin. Do you have a Hi Res scan of that image?
Hello.. Isn't it amazing ,how many people buy the product, without doing any research? Price shopping/name brand ,doesn't matter.. You still have to make it fit ,adjust, & work.. We haven't talked about reliability, and actually making power yet.. ( This is posted as a nod to knowledge,(you,& others) and making fun of unresearched magazine realities, lol) Sorry about the long post, needed to post somewhere..
Need some info. A low deck 383 block,440 steel crank ,TRW L2315's milled .200 " Any experience ? Block is machined ,to match.....
Thanks for the compliments! I've had that beast for a long time. :-D You were right -- the color is factory 1970 LimeLight with some ultra fine gold metal flake thrown in until I said 'when.'
