I love Borla mufflers but these "Crate" mufflers are definitely a gimmick how can you tune it to a specific motor when there are so many variables
But they don't sound bad here on this 440

73'- Early 74' will have the standard metal brackets
Late 74' to 76 will have shock bumper brackets
The late 74' to 76' have the outside mounting bolts spread out closer to the fenders than 73' to early 74' making them incompatible to swap

I have a set of Dr. Diff repro brackets and they seem to be very well made. Will have no worries to run these on my car.
Im surprised more people don't buy them instead of paying the crazy prices of eBay and others on this forum
