Man, it's awesome. Love the originality! If mine was like yours, I would have never touched it. It was very original but it had a couple of bad Touch Up's on the paint. It was a very easy restoration, no rust. I reused many of the original nuts/bolts/parts. They are pretty close in build dates...

I did the same thing. Even looks like the same battery. I went this route because the last 2 re-pops I had, only lasted 2-3 years.

2006 is about right. Cant imagine too many 999 cars had those options? Bet it was yours. I drove it. Only thing I remember, the interior was a little rough. Head liner drooping.
