    What Oil Filter to use

You all can call me odd but I only use Mopar filters on Mopar engines. I'm not exactly sure of the part# but I do believe it is a M1-990.

Another turn signal/brake light/emergency Flasher thread....

On my 69 I must have the turn signal in either direction and the e switch on for the flashers to work. My dad told all of the older cars he has ever seen worked this way. The lights did not receive any power unless the turn signal was in either direction.

    Are E3s worth it?

If you think about how the spark plug actually works they are a waste. The spark is going to travel to the point of least resistance whig would be only one of the "tabs" at a time. The spark will not travel to all three at once like the ad shows and even if it did the spark would be weaker as it...

68 Barracuda: temp gauge to max with key on

Sounds to me like a bad connection or a bad sending unit. A lot of connections get screwed at the bulkhead connectors

Welcome to the site!! You will get plenty of information on Herr for anything you want to do. There are lots of guys here that have put big blocks in a-bodies. Adding sub frame connectors is a must and I'm sure somebody else here will chime in on what else is needed as far as structure goes. It...

New alternater & voltage reg - not charging

Just a suggestion (because I have done this before) when you install your regulator the battery must be disconnected and the regulator must be mounted (grounded) before any of the wires are connected to it. I dealt with a similar problem and I ended up not having the regulator grounded when the...

Bogged down While In Gear And Sputtered During Acceleration

I'm going to be different then everybody else here only by a similar experience. I would do a tune up on it. My cuda did that after I bought it. She ran great in park or neutral. As soon as I put a load on it she would backfire and sputter really bad. It turned out to be the plug wires arcing to...

It would really depend on how much you wanted it but $500 would be a good deal

    All cylinders filling with water

IMO I would say that the head gasket was not properly sealed at initial start up. And I agree with 412 you are lucky if it is just water. That really sucks about that new motor though.

    Engine Running too Cool?

I would much rather my engine run cool than hot. I also replaced my thermostat with a 160 my car runs about 160-170 during the winter and right at 200 in summer when it gets to 110+ outside here in so cal. You shouldn't worry

    do I need K12900E-4 for 68 904 rebuild?

That kit number comes up as a subpak which is the gaskets and seals. K12900G looks to be the overhaul kit you need. The paper and rubber kit (which I believe is the gaskets and seals) is K12900G-1.
