Art, that sounds like a great (and rare) Dart you had. Your new Dart should have a 904. I run a newer version of the 904 in my Barracuda called a 998 or 999 can't remember. The 904 is a great trans with lighter internals which don't rob as much power. The guy that rebuilt mine is here in Washington but he has an online store, just look up torqueflite patty (Pat Blais Transmissions). Anything else I can help with just ask.

Thx for the compliment. Sorry I dont know where to get any parts for an ho 273. I am going to replace my slant for a v8 soon I got a 340 and a 360 that both need rebuilt just trying to decide which to go with. Id like to see some pics of your car. Are you going to keep it an auto? I swapped my auto for a 4 speed last winter.
