BarracudaWild68

My first exposure to Mopars was in 1976 or '78. A friends older brother bought a '68 RR. He ended up buying an AAR 'Cuda a few years later. I myself, bought a '69 Super Bee as my first car which I drove to school my junior year and, like a young, dumb fool, traded it for a pos '65 Coronet 500. I have also owned a '66 Fury I, with a 318 Poly and a '97 Sebring which was heavily loaded.
I'm purchasing (it is now in my garage) a rust-free '68 Valiant Signet in QQ1. It spent its entire life in So. California. All original with a /6. I will be selling the drivetrain out of it in the near-future. It also came from the factory with a/c. I will be replacing some or all of the drum brakes. A high horsepower big cube small block will go in with a nicely stalled automatic. It will be carbureted. A line lock and a 2-step rev limiter will be added. The interior will go back to as-new condition, as well as the original paint. I may relocate the battery.. I might also opt for a fuel cell. Who knows, maybe a dry sump system. It is going to be put on a serious diet with as much fiberglass and aluminum as it can take. It will get sub-frame connectors and a roll cage.
