    67 Dart exhaust tip hanger

Ok. Is there supposed to be an attachment hole, or did they not come predrilled since it was a single exhaust car?

    67 Dart exhaust tip hanger

I am wanting to replace the generic round chrome (rusty) exhaust tips on my Dart. I realize the car came with single exhaust, and I don't recall seeing any "67" tips. However I was hoping to install a set of 68 rectangle tips. I see a hole in the rear frame rails (both sides) I think could be...

    Converter- 67 273/904

LA. - Louisiana. But yes I am about 2 hours from PTC, and Kenny Ford of PTC has been to our shop before to help with our race transmissions. I did a "stall" check the stock converter with the new power disk brakes, and it seemed to be quite low to me, like 1600-1800. But before I called...

    Converter- 67 273/904

Just wondering if I need to order anything "special" to replace the converter in my 67 Dart? I seem to recall something about input shaft differences in early transmissions. I am getting ready to rebuild the 904, and figured I would switch to a slightly higher stall to help the little motor...

    67 Dart 273 swap to 383

Good point. I never have time, that is why my GTX isnt done and I had to buy the Dart to play with! Lol. My dreams and my schedule never seem to coincide. Project creep is definitely an issue! Might as well patch the inner fender around the battery and repaint the engine compartment, but then...

    67 Dart 273 swap to 383

LOL 1. Gotta admit a big block in a Dart sounds way cool! 2. I am known for poor decisions! 3. Love to spend money! Especially someone else's money!! That is one of the reasons I love my "Crew Chief" job!! 4. I have sawzall, cut off wheel, welder, and big hammers! 5. I don't run out of beer.

    67 Dart 273 swap to 383

I just upgraded the rear end to 8-3/4, so I have got the drive shaft shortening process figured out. Is the steering bushing a thing for the b-body manifolds, or the a-body manifolds, or both?

    67 Dart 273 swap to 383

Ok. Likely too many beers and too many dreams, but..... My 67 Dart GT 273 is having oiling issues, that I haven't had time to diagnose. When all of a sudden, a guy calls me up and wants to sell me a good running low mileage 68 383 4-bbl motor for $600. I did some quick internet searching, and...

    Front disk brakes not releasing.

Problem solved. Brakes released when I unbolted the master cylinder. Shortened the rod, locktite the adjuster, reassembled. All good! Stops on a dime! Now I need to figure out why the backup camera lost video connection. Thanks all for the input.

    Front disk brakes not releasing.

Thanks for the insight everyone. I will loosen the master cylinder this evening and see if a little gap cures the issue. I recall the adjustable pin on the booster, and thought it was a little long when I did the install. So that is probably the issue and should be easy to correct. Thx! Scott

    Front disk brakes not releasing.

I installed a new power disk brake setup from Right Stuff on my 67 Dart. Everything seemed to fit nicely and bled easily. On the first drive I noted significant drag on the front. I did keep the original proportioning valve in the system. The brakes release immediately when I cracked the line...

    Low oil volume

Yeah, radiator, condenser, A/C compressor....if I take that much apart, I may as well pull the motor and put in a little more HP. Add headers, 4bbl, ....its a slippery slope!

    Low oil volume

It is definitely not a push rod oiled motor. I have plenty of those to work on! Lol. Looks like I will need to pull the rocker shafts and check them for blockage, and spin the motor to see how much oil is getting up to the rocker shafts. I am just not looking forward to pulling the motor if...

    Low oil volume

The hole on top of the rocker that oil is supposed to run down the top of the rocker to the valve tip. I had the engine at 2000 rpm to get oil to #2 rocker. Plenty of oil pressure according to the gauge (55), but no volume. So I am guessing I am chasing a restriction somewhere.

    Low oil volume

Yep, casting numbers and date codes check.
