When I was sixteen my grandparents gave me their 1962 V200 sedan with aluminum block, one of five Valiants the family owned in the 60's. I owned it for seven years and learned auto mechanics on it, also had a '65 Sport Satellite 383, 1970 SE R/T Challenger w/440 Magnum, 1967 Barracuda fastback 273, '75 Dodge custom van 318. Sold all when or before i was out of college and then bought a new 1981 Charger 2.2 (Omni), 1986 turbo Dodge Daytona, 1989 Dodge Dynasty, 1994 Chrysler New Yorker, a couple mini-vans in '95 and '02, and a 2002 Ram Quad cab P/U. At age '65 have decided to get into classic cars starting with the 1962 2-Dr V200 pictured on my profile. I have already found numerous Signet parts to upgrade it including complete matching blue Signet interior. Will wind up with the 2-Dr Valiant I always wanted, same color inside and out as my first car, just a little sportier and featuring Signet cues such as bucket seats, badges and emblems, and black-out grill. I may upgrade to a 2 or 4-barrel carb, fuel injection, or even turbo. A/C and power steering are planned, and Electronic Ignition and some type of infotainment system.
