    1970 Dodge Dart Swinger

Up for sale is my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger with 91,000 original miles. I'm the third owner having spent 6 great years with this car. It was voted Tahoma Senior High's coolest car of 2007, has helped me win 3 sportsman bracket racing track championships (2 at Renegade Raceway in Yakima, 1 this...

Opinion: Small motors more or less consistent than big motors?

Not quite the advantage of the clean tree in theory since you could be waiting for a while if the other car is considerably slower...While the slow car always has the lights come down at the same time (no waiting). Having said that, the good racers know how to block those things out and cut a...

Opinion: Small motors more or less consistent than big motors?

And the slower car always gets the clean tree, so it goes both ways.

Opinion: Small motors more or less consistent than big motors?

So many variables to consider to answer this...Being able to cut a light and drive the stripe goes a long way, but the car needs to show some signs of consistency. 3 sportsman track championships in 3 years at two different tracks later, I'd like to think that I proved that a slow car with a...

Need Prayers for my Grandson because of seizures

Done and done...I suffered w/seizures around that age myself. They lasted roughly a year until I grew out of them, and I believe that in time your Grandson will overcome them too. At the time my family and I had no idea what they were or what the cause may have been...Turns out that I more than...

how to make the /6 a powerhouse

Depends on how far you want to go...A 2-barrel super six is an easy and very worthwhile switch. I have a 390 cfm holley 4-barrel on mine and love it, but then again I bracket race my Dart a lot and the engine has had plenty of work done to it. A super six 2 barrel should be easy to acquire and...

how to make the /6 a powerhouse

I will agree that Clifford's prices are a little high, but I've been running their split headers, 4-BBL intake, shot peened rods, and double roller timing chain with great success (on and off the track) for 6 years....Over 900+ passes with most of that equipment. Having said that, upgrading to a...

No "Mopar Only" Drags in Seattle anymore?

The turnout really wasn't that good...Pacific Raceways did a crappy job promoting the event and the weather didn't cooperate very well. To be fair though, Pacific doesn't have a Chevy or Ford race either this season...Just the 12-race ET series, the divisional, the National event, and a bunch of...

    73' 340/904 duster racestoration

I'm sure you have highway gears too...Should be faster than your posted quarter mile times...My 4-BBL Slant six goes 17:50s at 79 MPH with 2.76 highway gears (for comparison)...Adding a set of 3.23 or 3.55 gears would surely do wonders! Solid car btw!
